“Is chiropractic right for me?”
Spinal Manipulation or “Chiropractic Adjustments” are a safe and effective treatment for a variety of issues that cause pain and discomfort in the body. Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
According to WebMD, chiropractic patients have a 95% satisfaction rate with the care they receive. In fact, in the medical journal Spine, it was found that, “Reduced odds of surgery were observed for…those whose first provider was a chiropractor. 42.7% of workers [with back injuries] who first saw a surgeon had surgery, in contrast to only 1.5% of those who saw a chiropractor.”
